These are two tiny sweet pinapple that my mom grew. They are about the size of softballs. How cute huh? I also bought some cat grass and mint. I needed mint for some juicing so I bought a mint plant instead of the picked mint in the store. I normally grow cat grass, but I was in the garden section, so I just picked some up.
Another good combo is what my husband likes to call:
Soak the chia seeds in some coconut milk. Blend the pineapple, mango, and some coconut until smooth. Once chia absorbs some of the liquid, pour half into the blender. Blend. Pour the blended mixture into the rest of your chia seed mixture. Stir. It is sooooo tasty!
This is my new baby at work "Tasi", meaning "Ocean".

Cloth pads and cloth toilet paper? That's more than just a little extreme! Haha. Kudos to you, though! I'm afraid I'm going to stick to my toilet PAPER while I can. :)
ReplyDeleteI am SO jealous of your beautiful garden! I reeeeeealy want a garden of my own. Perhaps next month we'll have the funds to buy the wood for the planters. Fingers crossed!

ReplyDeleteReally nice garden! I am a plant lover myself so I appreciate your plants!
P.S. I was wondering how much does chia cost? Could you help me with that please? Here in Romania I haven't found chia seeds and I thought maybe they are too expensive to import...

Miriam, yes I freak people out sometimes with my "extreme" hippiness. I swear I get called "weird" on a daily basis ;) I hope you can start a garden. It is so much fun and so rewarding when you can say, I grew this!
