~After~ a soak in the fridge overnight.

Voila! Beautiful blueberry goodness.
This was my quick breakfast this morning. I was rushing getting ready for work, feeding all my animals, and watering my plants. I make this one often!
Blueberry Goodness
4 scoops chia (about 8-10 Tbsp)
Water-enough to fill the jar above in picture
1 1/2 cups organic blueberries
1 tsp maca powder
4 Tbsp agave
Once the chia soaks in the water overnight, scoop half of it out into your blender with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass or bowl (I prefer bowl if I am going to be eating at home). Add the remaining soaked chia into your blueberry mixture. It will be a tapioca type of consistency almost. This is what I eat at least two days out of the week for breakfast. I heart chia!

  1. I think I would heart chia too if I could get some...
My mother went to Germany today and I hope she'll have time to look for chia seeds for me!
This recipe sounds and looks delicious!

  2. I think you would too :) Where did you say you live again? Romania? I wonder how much it would be for me to send you some. What do you think that would cost?

  3. I found a site that calculates postal costs but I don't understand the terms... and package weight...and all that... so maybe you could help me there? The site is http://postcalc.usps.gov/
Thank you even for offering to help me. Nobody has done that til now! :o

  4. Hi Carissa! I just had your Blueberry Goodness chia pudding, and loved it!!! Thanks so much for the yummy recipe:)

  5. Angi- I'll check out what the rates are and let you know:)

Evergreen- I'm glad you liked it! It's one of my favorites!

  6. Wow! 8-10 Tablespoons of Chia? I thought the recommended daily amount was two TBS? I've been wanting to make a healthy drink, this looks perfect.

  7. YES! I kind of OD on chia a lot though :) I don't think it hurts you any. It's so tasty!

  8. Angi- It looks like shipping would be about $12-14$ in a small flat rate box from Hawaii to Romania. Let me check one more site and I will let you know :)

  9. Angi- Do me a favor, try going to amazon.com. I think this is the link:

Go to the checkout and all and see how much shipping would be to Romania. See if it is more or less than $15. Let me know! I couldn't figure it out because I do not have your address :)

  10. Dear Carissa, thank you for the link, but they say that item can't be shipped to my address... The other ones I put in my cart can though...
