Quick Post

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a while. I just wanted you to know I wasn't dead. For those of you who read my last post, I ended up having to go to the dentist. I had my three wisdom teeth pulled. There was a bad cavity in one of them, but I refused to have it filled and decided to just get them all pulled. I don't need them anyway.

Smoothie from McFosters with mint, pineapple, tempeh milk, tahini and agave.

Fresh mango snack

Spankopita with tofu scramble, no egg agave hollandaise and hash browns from McFosters.

Yam tempura from Wasabi

This is what I have been working on. I have been getting all my herbs organized.

They are all labeled now!

My Nano and his new homemade catnip toy.

  1. Aw, Nano. So cute! <3

Way to go with the organization! The herbs look great in mason jars like that.

McFosters sounds so amazing. We might just have to stop there for lunch on our way home when we take our next road trip. I hope you're feeling all better now. Having wisdom teeth pulled hurts so much!

  2. I had my wisdom teeth cut out less than a year ago. I was miserable, I couldn't chew for a week but I was so hungry - that's when I first got the nerve to try green smoothies. Yours looks delicious. McFoster's seems like a great find. Hope your mouth has a speedy recovery!

  3. I remember having my wisdom teeth out...I had all four taken at once. It definitely had me down for a few days afterward.

Your organized herbs is an inspiration! My poor cupboards are in such a state of disorganization and it seems like even when I clean them up and get organized it's just a few weeks before they're back to their cluttered state.

That yam tempura is calling my name, and Nano is adorable as always.

  4. Hope you took it easy! I know I needed to after having mine out.

Rose is right, your organization is very inspiring :) It looks great! I really need to revamp my supply.

I'm not familiar with the things listed in the close-up pic. What do you use those for?

Sweet Nano, what a fun toy! And the food looks great. I wish we had somewhere like that around here!

  13. I love how you've stored your herbs. I do something similar with Kilner jars, but sadly can't have them on kitchen display as my kitchen is too tiny.
