Last days in Oahu

Shouldn't every post start off with a nice glass of beer? This is some Primo beer. It's pretty good, not bad.
My friend Stephanie with her baby Kalea-Reign at the beach today.
Not the most flattering of pictures but whatever!
Lunch today was from Paradise Cafe. Stephanie's good friend owns this cafe and the health food store that it sits in which is called Celestial Foods.
I love this quote! I wish the sign was for sale, I would have bought it!
I have a small obsession with mermaids and this was painted on the post right next to where I was sitting.

An awesome acai bowl from Paradise Found with papaya and granola to top it off.
Falafels with tahini sauce, so good! Steph ate the salad because I do not eat olives nor cheese.
Today was a beautiful day with my good friend and brother. I am trying to go to some of the places I really love before I have to go. More to come. I will be in Omaha in 6 days!

  3. Thumper's mom said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". So I will abstain from saying anything, but... you know....

  4. You should make yourself a sign or poster with that quote for your new home in Omaha. That baby's hair is so cute - not an unflattering photo at all!

  5. Love the pictures! Cool quote! I agree with Jessica. You should make yourself a sign or poster with that quote on it. Oh, that beer does look tasty...I like the glass it's in too! All the foods look delish. I would love to try that acai bowl!

  6. Enjoy your last few days on the island. Soon you will be reunited with your sweeite. I have found that no matter where I am, if I am with my hubby it is home and we are happy. :-)

  14. Hey Carissa. I recently discovered your blog, and have been catching up, reading the last couple of months' worth of posts. You animals are so sweet, and I love that you post pictures of them. I hope the move is going well for you and them. I'm sure Hawaii to Nebraska will be a big change. Hopefully there are a lot of farmer's markets and such in Nebraska; there should be.
